This is a demo server

xudanu.com exists to demonstrate the Xudanu software. It may be restarted, upgraded, or reset, and content may be removed, at any time and without notice. Do not use it as your only copy of anything you care about. The server is provided as-is, with no warranty of availability, fitness, or support.

Your content stays yours

You retain all copyright and rights in everything you write here. To let the system work, you grant this server a non-exclusive licence to store your content and to serve and verify it as part of the system's normal operation — including displaying it inside documents that quote it by reference (transclusion) and showing your authorship alongside it (provenance). That is the extent of the grant.

Reuse of your content by other users is governed by the licence you set on each work (All Rights Reserved, Transcopyright, CC-BY, CC-BY-SA, or Public Domain). The licence travels with the content. The server never handles money — no fees, no payments, no settlement, by design. If that ever changes, these terms change first.

House rules

• Nothing unlawful, harassing, malicious, or deceptive.
• No content you don't have the right to publish.
• The operator may remove content that breaks these rules, and may revoke access.

Privacy, briefly

You can sign in with an in-app identity (no email involved) or with GitHub or Google — in which case your provider account name, profile picture, and email address are used to create your identity here and are stored with it. Nothing else is requested from the provider. Content you publish is world-readable by design. Authorship attribution is a core feature of the system: what you write is cryptographically attributed to your identity, publicly and verifiably. Don't write here what you need to stay anonymous.

No accounts for minors

This server is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 where applicable).

Complaints and removal

Copyright or other complaints: david@dgjones.info. You may ask for your works and identity to be removed from the server at any time; removal takes them out of public view and off the server.

Changes; liability

These terms may change; continued use after a change is acceptance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this server.

Self-hosted servers

Xudanu is open-source software. Anyone may run their own server, and many do. Each server is an independent operation. The Xudanu project has no access to, control over, ownership of, or responsibility for any server it does not operate — including the content, availability, or terms of those servers.
